YEE HAW!!! Interstate 10!!!! - How I Love Thee Even More Now! - Our State's New 80 mph Speed Limit

Need I say more people?

I'm happy that I can now do 80 miles per hour legally out in West Texas (this was the speed I normally set my cruise control on anyway on the long stretches of I-10 between Kerrville and El Paso).

Screw the fact that gas costs $3.00 a gallon, or that most people in the United States drive like shit anyway, I'm super-psyched about this.

Of course, it's only 80 in the western regions of Texas. East of Kerrville on I-10, and Eastern parts of I-20 are still only 70 (65 at night). I can understand that though, as most of the population of Texas resides in the eastern part of the state.
